These silencers give a smooth 15Bhp/17ft-lbs of torque to the wheels with the valves opened, +8HP/10 ft-lbs of torque to the wheels with the valves closed. This unique exhaust configures a dual-tone setup controlled by a key fob which you can switch on the fly. Awesome sounding aftermarket silencers for my 996 Carrera, so much more sporty and performance like tones compared to the oe silencers as well a lot louder. Both open and closed sound much better than the oe sound. Closed is a good deal quieter than the open position but still has a nice sporty tone.
